IPT Series of Secure Biometric Handheld Payment Devices

By adding secure payment and printer functionality to a handheld the new IPT300 is well suited for retail mobile sale force team, distribution, route accounting, on-board ticketing, parking enforcement, On-the-spot billing, In-Flight sales and other credit card payment purposes. The IPT300 is powered by Intel PXA270 processor and Windows© Mobile with features such as Contact card slot, Magnetic stripe reader, 2’ Thermal printer, Wireless LAN, Infrared, Bluetooth, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, SD card slot and SAM (Secure Access Module) and SIM slots, MiFARE Reader, Fingerprint Reader, Barcode Reader, and Charging cradle. The TTI IPT300 is highly customizable to cater for customer specific needs without the additional cost. “The IPT300 add a new dimension to Mobile ID and Payment Handheld devices. First the user of the device can be biometrically authenticated using a optical fingerprint scanner to insure they are the person authorized to use the machine and from there swipe or insert card and or add pin code for payment processing. The new IPT300 mobile device will equip enterprises, government agencies and other organizations with the tools they need to perform biometric identity verification and authentication, payment processing, capturing of photos, reading of Chip based credentials and the printing of receipts.
